Five Reasons Why You Should Try Resolution CrossFit

  1. Results

Resolution CrossFit classes are structured to get you moving and keep you moving so you can maximize your time spent in the gym from warm-up to workout to cooldown all while be coached and supervised to ensure success. Our programming utilizes High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) which has been found to be the most effective form of exercise in terms of fat burning. Our program also causes a phenomenon called Exercise Post Oxygen Consumption (EPOC) where even after you finish exercising your body continues to burn calories at an increased rate for up to 24 hours. These days everyone is busy with work and their personal lives and it is hard to find time to go to the gym. Resolution CrossFit will provide the structure you need to achieve the results you want all.2. It’s SafeDespite what you may have heard, CrossFit classes are safer than working out on your own. Statistics show that injury rates for running and yoga are higher than one might think.During each class a Coach will debrief the attendees on the workout, run the everyone through two types of warm-up: 1) General warm-up – simply to get you warm. 2) Specific warm-up – which allows the Coach time to focus on teaching individuals how to perform the exercises of the day properly. Also during the workout itself you have a Coach walking around the entire time helping you focus on your form and making corrections as necessary. The Coaches are aware of every modification for each exercise, so members are encouraged to give feedback to let the Coach know if anything does not feel right so adjustments can be made and you can exercise to the best of your ability.3. MotivationThe majority of the people we have worked with over the years have had the same problem, getting and staying motivated. You are not alone. That’s one of the great things about the group setting. Many people who attend our group classes show up tired, exhausted and or unmotivated from the ups and downs of everyday life. But once they join the group, they become re-energized. With a friendly Coach there to light a fire under you rear, it can't get any better. Not only are you more motivated to get out of bed and exercise, but there's the motivation to improve your current fitness level. If you work out with people who are faster, stronger or fitter than you, you are probably going to get in better shape. There's an old saying that goes, "The lead dog sets the pace for the rest of the pack." Think about it.4. Accountability Having a workout group that’s doing the same thing as you and expecting you and others to show up has the effect of holding you accountable. We have had countless clients over the years at Resolution CrossFit say, "I wouldn't be there in the morning if I didn't know that Matt, Vanessa, Collin, Aaron, etc. were going to give me a hard time for not showing up."The fear of group teasing you gets you out of bed. It works, and sometimes we need to do whatever it takes to achieve our goals.Plus, there's the friendly Coach again that’s keeping track of your tardiness. We use the whiteboard to keep track of who’s attending and who’s not. If we haven't seen someone for a week or two, we let all the staff know so that someone can reach out to hold that person accountable. This usually does the trick.5. Community/Group Camaraderie Rather than going to the gym by yourself and putting on your headphones, or attending another group class, CrossFit encourages you to get to know the other people in the class. That way you are able to challenge each other to work harder, create positive energy and exercise longer. The encouragement of that group environment is invaluable as you are trying to push through the final minute of a long workout or work quickly during those intervals. It is hard not to push yourself when you are trying to catch the person next to you who is only a few repetitions ahead, or if there is someone right behind you trying to catch you.As you get to know people, there is accountability in knowing that they are showing up to class and that will help you stay on track
